We would like to welcome our new Coach's Alex Wyss & Mallory Goulding
Alex was born on June 18, 1994 in Joliet, IL. Alex started playing softball at the age of 4 for Junior Miss Softball. She then went on to play travel ball for the Joliet Dirt Devils, Hawks Gold and the Orland A's. Alex attended high school at Joliet Catholic Academy and was a four time letter winner there. She played outfield, pitcher and shortstop. Alex is now attending the University of Illinois at Chicago to complete a Criminal Justice degree and play outfield for the UIC Flames.
Mallory was born on December 14, 1993. Mallory started playing softball for the Plainfield Athletic Club when she was five. She then went on to play travel ball for Bedinger's Bullpen, Chitown Express, Joliet Dirt Devils and the Orland A's. Mallory attended Providence Catholic her first two years of high school, making the varsity team as a freshman. She then transferred to Joliet Catholic Academy and was a starting pitcher. Mallory is now attending Benedictine College in Kansas where she is majoring in French, Sociology, and International Studies and is a pitcher for the Benedictine Ravens.
Alex and Mallory have been helping coach our girls and are a great asset to our team. We are so happy to have them both and the girls absolutely love them! Thank you Alex and Mallory for being a part of the Xplosion Family!

Established in 2010 Plainfield Xplosion is a non for profit, volunteer driven, girls fast pitch softball organization. We provide a positive atmosphere through fundraising as well as community and family support. The girls will learn to play the game one pitch at a time with discipline, poise and integrity while honoring each other as we strive to reach excellence on and off the playing field.
